The Laptop Repair Process
Cal Micro offers a simple, easy-to-follow Bay Area computer and laptop repair process. We understand that your computer is important to you and we take every necessary precaution to return your PC or Mac as quickly as possible. To ensure efficiency, here are the steps involved in our computer repair process:
- Complete our Repair Form by clicking here. Repair forms may be faxed to (408) 321-8811, e-mailed to technician@calmicro.net or dropped off at our service center.
- Deliver the laptop to us by dropping it off or shipping it to us within 10 days of receiving the approval and work order number from us. We’ll run a diagnosis and then send you an estimate.
- Approve the estimate and give us written authorization to proceed with the repair. Most repairs are finished within 3-4 business days.
- Pay for the repairs when you pick up your laptop; or, if we’re shipping your computer back to you, we’ll charge your credit card before we ship.
Laptop Repair Considerations
Some things to keep in mind before initiating the Bay Area laptop repair process include:
- A $45 diagnostics fee will be charged to all customers who receive an estimate and choose not to have their computer serviced at Cal Micro.
- Repair estimates include part costs, labor costs and estimated shipping costs.
- Cal Micro boasts a large on-hand inventory of computer components. However, in the event that your specific repair parts are not on hand, an extra two to three days may be required to obtain all necessary components.
- Credit card information is required upon written authorization of the repair. However, credit cards will not be charged until the repair has been successfully completed.
