Is your laptop slow? Are you having problems downloading media or other types of files? These and other symptoms are indicators that your notebook or computer may be in need of upgrades to memory, the CPU (central processing unit), or hard drive. Cal Micro provides comprehensive upgrade services to its San Jose and Bay Area laptop and computer repair customers - both in-warranty and out-of-warranty.
Why Upgrade?
The applications for computers are rapidly expanding and demand an efficient, roomy system. Even notebooks less than two years old may drag when trying to download videos, process large files, or surf the Web. Does this mean you need to buy a new laptop?
In many cases, the answer is no. Typically, the bulk of your system is working well, but memory, the hard drive and/or CPU has reached its maximum capacity and just doesn’t have any more room or speed to do what you need it to do.
Rather than replace the entire computer, an upgrade allows you to pay to replace only what you need. typically at a fraction of the cost of a new system. Many upgrades are available free of charge. Below are a couple of examples of cost savings between upgrading and purchasing a new laptop or computer:
In-warranty Upgrades
We provide you with a full range of upgrade options including diagnostics to make recommendations for the performance you need. If you already know what upgrades you’d like, there will be no diagnostic charge-we’ll just perform the upgrade and get you on your way*.
Because we are a certified warranty repair center for Sony, Toshiba, Apple, Lenovo and Fujitsu notebooks, if we provide your upgrades it will not void your warranty. If you do the upgrades yourself or use an uncertified service, you will void your warranty.
